The Adult Protective Services (APS) Division of Voluntary and Proprietary Homes for Adults (DVPHA), which operates two state-mandated housing programs that utilize private housing as licensed residences. They are the Family-type Homes for Adults (FTHA) and the Foster Family Care Program (FFCP). Fire safety inspections for homes used by these programs are required by New York State regulations concerning eligibility for an operating license. The New York City Human Resources Administration and Adult Protective services have the responsibility for supervision of these programs. The lowest bidder, Pyramid Safety and Health Solution, Inc is our current vendor. They have been providing fire and safety inspection services to the clients over six (6) years.
