As a convenience to you, the City of New York accepts credit and debit cards. If you choose to pay with a credit or debit card, you will be charged a fee of 2.49% of the payment amount. This fee is nonrefundable. If you pay with check or money order, you will not be charged a fee.
Your card will be charged twice, and you will receive two receipts. One receipt will be for what you paid for and the other will be for the fee. The fee will be shown as a separate charge on your credit or debit card statement, and the New York City Department of Finance will be the merchant.
Subscriptions are non-refundable.
