Description

For information purposes and pursuant to Section 3-04(b)(2)(i)(D) of NYC's Procurement Policy Board Rules, the New York Police Department (NYPD) intends to award a contract via Negotiated Acquisition with VEXCEL Corporation for the support, maintenance, and continued modernization of the NYPD Domain Awareness System (DAS). NYPD requires continuity of services from a vendor with demonstrated, established operational capability with the DAS environment. VEXCEL Corporation has substantial institutional knowledge of DAS Program which requires enterprise, scale program management, and governance to oversee a highly complex and interdependent operating environment. The anticipated contract term will be 02/01/2027 to 01/31/2032 with two (five year) renewal options.

If you wish to express interest in a future procurement for the Domain Awareness System, please contact Margaret Budzinska or Jordan Glickstein at contracts@nypd.org.
