Description

The Department of Environmental Protection is entering into a Negotiated Acquisition (NA) contract with Environmental Protection & Improvement Company, Inc. ("EPIC").  The NA will allow the agency to retain the current contractor to provide the removal and beneficial use of biosolids from the six Bureau of Wastewater Treatment (BWT) Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) dewatering facilities. 

DEP in collaboration with EPIC will transport the biosolids from the BWT dewatering facilities via trucks to a nearby rail service, then transport the material via rail to the Contractor’s biosolids processing facility.

The contract term will be 9/7/2026-9/7/2036. EPIN: 82627N0003
