The New York City Housing Authority’s (“NYCHA”) Asset and Capital Management Division is seeking input (“Responses”) from manufacturers and suppliers of auger compactors and interior compactors on a proposed Master Equipment Supply Agreement.
Under this new procurement approach, NYCHA would enter into an agreement with a qualified manufacturer or supplier, establishing pre-negotiated terms, conditions, and unit pricing for equipment to be supplied across multiple NYCHA developments. NYCHA’s project-specific installation contractors would issue Purchase Orders against the agreement as equipment is needed, while payment obligations to the supplier would remain with NYCHA.
This RFI is available online through NYCHA’s Oracle iSupplier system (“iSupplier”). Instructions for registering for iSupplier can be found at http://www1.nyc.gov/site/nycha/business/vendors.page. Through this RFI, NYCHA is seeking industry Responses to help refine the proposed agreement and procurement approach before proceeding with a future solicitation.
This document is not a solicitation. NYCHA will not award a contract based on the responses to this RFI and a response to this RFI is not required in order to respond to any subsequent solicitation issued by NYCHA. A response to this RFI will not result in any preference or advantage in any subsequent competitive procurement.
