DEP intends to enter into an MWBE Non-Competitive Small Purchase agreement with Heredia Gozalez Inc for the purchase of Uniforms for Water Use Inspectors.
The contract is necessary to provide uniforms for Water Use Inspectors. Inspectors are required to wear DEP issued uniforms daily with no exceptions. Water Use Inspectors must be clearly identifiable to the public, as they are required to enter private properties to inspect, repair, or replace metering equipment. Water Use Inspectors perform their duties during various weather conditions, as result, the uniforms shall be suited for all weather scenarios: heat, cold, rain, wind, etc.
