Description

The Asset and Capital Management Sustainability Department of the New York City Housing (“NYCHA” or the “Authority”) is excited to announce the Request for Expressions of Interest (“RFEI”) to seek proposals for Mattress Collection and Recycling Services.

Interested applicants must submit their proposal by September 22, 2026 at 11:59 P.M. EDT.

The Pre-Submission Conference will be held virtually on September 1, 2026 at 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. EDT.

NYCHA additionally recommends that Applicants submit, via webform or email, written questions to following the instructions detailed within the RFEI by no later than 11:59 P.M. on September 8, 2026.  Applicants will be permitted to ask additional questions at the Pre-Submission Conference. All questions and answers will be posted September 15, 2026 11:59 P.M. EDT on NYCHA’s website after the deadline.

Interested applicants should follow submission instructions in the RFEI. After submitting a webform on the NYCHA website, they will receive an e-mail with a link to upload submission materials. Any questions can be sent to anita.chan@nycha.nyc.gov
