This Negotiated Acquisition Extension is the vehicle by which we the agency is extending a contract (for a period of up to six months) for which all other renewal and extensions of term have been exercised. This course of action must be taken to ensure continuity of service while a replacement contract is being registered.
Description

The New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) intends to enter into negotiations with National Data & Surveying Services, Inc. under the Negotiated Acquisition provision (Section 3-04) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules for an agreement to continue providing the services performed under Contract CT1-841-20238803131 Data Collection, Tabulation and Analysis Services for a period of up to six months beyond the current expiration date of 5/26/26.  The Agency Chief Contracting Officer has determined, pursuant to Section 3-04(b)(2)(iii), that “there is a compelling need to extend a contract one or more times beyond the now permissible cumulative twelve-month limit.”  The extension agreement will ensure the unbroken continuity of data collection, tabulation and analysis services.

The term of this extension agreement is six months, commencing (retroactively) on 5/27/26 and concluding on 11/27/26.
