Description

NOTICE OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING of the Franchise and Concession Review Committee and The Department of Parks & Recreation (“Parks”) to be held on 8/10/2026, at 255 Greenwich Street, 8th Floor, in Manhattan commencing at 2:30 p.m. relative to:

INTENT TO AWARD as a concession a License Agreement (“License”) to Busters Marine Bronx Marina for the Development, Operation and Maintenance of an Outdoor Café and Other Amenities in WNYC Transmitter Park located at 10 Kent Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222 (Solicitation # B385-SB-2025)

The License will provide for a twenty-five (25) year term with no options to renew.

Compensation to the City will be as follows:

Licensee shall pay the City License fees for each operating year consisting of the higher of a minimum annual guaranteed fee (based on the schedule below) or 2% of gross receipts over $3,000,000.

Written testimony may be submitted in advance of the hearing electronically to fcrc@mocs.nyc.gov. All written testimony can be submitted up until the close of the public hearing and will be distributed to the FCRC after the hearing.

2. Submit a written request by mail to NYC Parks at The Arsenal, Central Park 830 Fifth Avenue, Room 407 New York, NY 10065. Written requests must be received by 8/10/2026. For mail-in requests, please include your name, return address, and R5-A-IS-SB.
