Description

Pursuant to Section 3-11 of the Procurement Policy Board Rules, the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services ("DCAS") intends to enter into a contract with InPipe Energy Inc to utilize the Demonstration Project method for Innovative Products, Approaches or Technologies to procure testing of Micro-Hydro Turbine for energy recovery from pressurized water in a discharge line from the Department of Environmental Protection’s (“DEP”) East Branch reservoir. The term of the agreement is for two years for testing their HydroXS-M8-37kW (HydroXS) Micro-Hydro Turbine for energy recovery from pressurized water in a discharge line from the Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) East Branch reservoir in Putnam County, NY for a cost not to exceed $1,132,267.90.
