Under this NA the incumbent vendor will continue assessment services at the emergency shelter until a city operated men’s assessment site will be moved to an appropriate city owned site. Procurement and award are in accordance with PPB Rule Section 3-04 (b) (2) (i) (D) for the reason set herein.
Description

Pursuant to Sections 3-04(b)(2)(i)(D) of the Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules DHS intents to enter into a Negotiated Acquisition (NA) contract with United Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State, Inc. dba Constructive Partnerships Unlimited, Inc. for assessment services at the emergency shelter, located at 357 Marcus Garvey Boulevard, Brooklyn, NY, 11221. The current contract CT1-071-20268801252/07125E0008001 expires on 6/30/26, and the proposed NA would extend the incumbent vendor for the emergency shelter operation under the same conditions at the site until 6/30/27. This NA is needed for DHS to have more time to determine options for a new  men’s city owned assessment site by 7/1/27. Agency needs about 6 months for an appropriate assessment site creation as this process includes the  extensive adjustments to the building layout, security assessments and other staffing needs. Hence DHS needs to keep 357 Marcus Garvey as a provider operated site until the assessment of this and other DHS sites are completed. Procurement and award are in accordance with PPB Rule Section 3-04(b)(2)(i)(D) for the reason set herein.
