PIN#78126N0014 Due:
Pursuant to Section 3-04(b)(2)(iii) of the Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, the New York City Department of Probation (DOP) intends to enter into a Negotiated Acquisition Extension (NAE) with Good Shepherd Services for the continued provision of services under the Advocate, Intervene, Mentor (AIM) Program.
Sourcing EPIN: 78126N0014
Vendor: Good Shepherd Services
Vendor Address: 305 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10001
The AIM Program is an Alternative to Placement (ATP) intervention that provides intensive, community-based mentoring services to high-risk, justice-involved youth on probation through a one-on-one advocate-mentor model. Under this extension, Good Shepherd Services will continue to deliver services through a one-on-one advocate-mentor model in which participants are paired with trained, paid mentors who provide consistent, around-the-clock support. Advocate-mentors, serving as credible messengers with strong community ties and relevant lived experience, work with participants to address criminogenic needs, improve decision-making, strengthen family and community connections, and reduce the likelihood of further justice system involvement.
Term: July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028
Total Contract Amount: $2,145,203.52
This NAE is necessary to ensure continuity of critical services while the Department completes a competitive procurement. This notice is for informational purposes only. Vendors interested in expressing interest in this or future procurements for similar services may contact Chairon Jeffrey at cjeffrey@probation.nyc.gov.
