Description

This contract will ensure that the Engine Generator Controls operate reliably and efficiently. Without the service and repair contract, the generators are vulnerable to unexpected breakdowns. These engine generators are used to power the main sewage pumps upon loss of power from the utility company. Failure of the generators will interfere with raw sewage pumping which could lead to large scale raw sewage bypass, leading to violations of SPDES permits and substantial fines to the City.
