New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) invites law firms to submit a proposal for the provision of outside legal counsel services in connection with a complex real estate transaction involving the sale or long term ground lease, redevelopment, relocation, and condominiumization of a site targeted for mixed-use market rate and mixed-income housing, including permanently affordable housing units anticipated to be 485-x compliant, and a library, described in more detail in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”).
NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal negotiating and drafting relevant real estate agreements, experience in dealing with private and public or quasi-public organizations and/or municipal or other governmental entities, and the proposed fee.
