Description

The Agency is in urgent need of a NG911 Subject Matter Expert (SME) to continue the project work for the Class 1/2/3 and Call Handling upgrades of the Next Generation 9-1-1 emergency call system and provide expertise and technical knowledge during the configuration, and test phases. Among other tasks NG911 ESiNET Network Engineer will participate in configuration and testing activities, ensure quality controls on ESiNET and compliance to standard depicted by the City, APCO and NENA. Report all quality control issues to the NG9-1-1 program manager and all agency representatives.Review all network ESiNET services and ensure all developed interfaces satisfy all agency requirements.Define global enterprise network architecture, recommending and validating new emerging technologies, and ensuring that the end-to-end strategy aligns to business and technology goals that address business needs for the 9-1-1 call taking and dispatch environment.
