Description

The Department of Sanitation (“DSNY”) is seeking a qualified M/WBE vendor ("the Contractor”) to deliver, remove, and transport Battery Recycling Drums that are designed for safe management of end-of-life, damaged, defective, and/or recalled (“DDR”) batteries. Such batteries—especially damaged lithium-ion and rechargeable batteries—pose severe fire and environmental hazards when improperly discarded.
