Description

NYC Health + Hospitals’ Enterprise Information Technology Services (“EITS”) department is seeking qualified vendors to provide Information Technology (IT) Supplemental Staffing Services to support a broad range of needs across the enterprise. EITS is responsible for managing all of NYC Health + Hospitals (“the System”) information systems and technology infrastructure and providing comprehensive IT services and programs to support the organization. EITS manages several clinical- and non-clinical applications, two parallel processing data centers, and the infrastructure distributed across the System’s 70 locations that rely on secure, reliable, and modern technology systems to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain efficient business operations. In addition to implementing new technologies, EITS is responsible for maintaining the existing IT environment and sustaining day-to-day operations. EITS is also engaged in hundreds of initiatives, programs, and tactical projects every year to support the System's strategic goal and objectives, improve the care experience, support growth and change initiatives and regulations, and proactively position the organization for the future.

To meet the increasing demand for technical expertise, project-based initiatives, and operational support, the System seeks to enter into multiple contracts with IT staffing vendors capable of supplying qualified, experienced IT professionals on a temporary, as-needed, contract-to-hire, and/or project-based basis. The supplemental staffing resources will augment existing internal IT teams and may support:

  • Business Applications and Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Clinical Applications
  • Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Enterprise Support Services
  • IT Project Management Office, Governance & Data Interoperability
  • Data & Analytics, Innovations, AI
  • Security and Risk Management
