DEP intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement with Hydra-Stop LLC, for HYDRASTOP-2025 for the Purchase of Hydra-Stop Insertion Valve System. The Bureau of Water and Sewer Operations (BWSO) is requesting a sole source purchase of the Hydra-Stop Insertion Valve System. This system will allow BWSO to reduce water main shutdowns when existing shut-off valves are non-functioning or in the event the system does not have a shut-off valve. By using the Hydra-Stop Insertion Valve System, DEP/BWSO will allow the repair and maintenance of water, wastewater and other fluid systems without interrupting service or requiring system shutdown and quickly restore service to impacted customers.
