Description

NYC Health + Hospitals wishes to engage vendors for two distinct populations; bad debt collections and estate collections. Vendors responding to this RFP may choose to respond to one or more scopes of work. NYC Health + Hospitals reserves the right to select one or more vendors to provide each of the services described below.

 The AR partnerships are for claims associated with:

              1. Self Pay Bad Debt

2. Estate Collections

3. NYC Health + Hospitals Corporate Collections 

Contracts will include both hospital and professional claims at NYC Health + Hospital’s acute hospitals, Gotham Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and the potential for including the System’s skilled nursing facilities. 

The System currently has self pay Bad Debt vendors.  These contracts are concluding and The System regularly solicits vendors at the conclusion of each contract period. NYC Health + Hospitals does not currently have an estate collections vendor.
