Responses will require specific expertise by respondents to the RFP and therefore will require judgement in the review of those responses and a balancing of price, quality and other factors set forth in the RFP to ensure that the selected response meets the overall objectives set forth in the RFP.
Description
SBS is seeking a qualified vendor or a consortium of qualified vendors (“Contractor(s)”) to implement commercial leasing support services including, but not limited to, legal assistance and representation for commercial tenants facing lease related challenges. This program supports a law passed in June 2016 by the New York City Council to amend the City’s administrative code in relation to curtailing harassment of small businesses and other non-residential tenants (Local Law No. 77 of 2016). This program additionally supports a local law passed in September 2020 to amend the City’s administrative code in relation to legal services for small business tenants (Local Law No. 90 of 2020).
