Description

The NYPD requires the service of a laboratory to perform ballistic testing of personal body armor at a laboratory accredited by the National Institute of Justice (” NIJ”). The Ballistic testing is necessary to ensure that all new body armor purchased by the NYPD is tested and meets NIJ standards and warranty standards, in accordance with NIJ guidelines. The contract term is five (5) years with two (2) three-year renewal options.

There will be a virtual pre-bid conference held on September 10, 2025 at 11:00 am. Attendance is not mandatory, however, vendors are strongly encouraged to attend.
