These 26 Fresh Service Subscription Licenses for 3 years are for The Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit (PEU). PEU has a need for a service management tool to better support staff reported site/facility related issues, employee onboarding, supply request, off-site meeting space request, asset management along with several other administrative, employee management and IT related request and support services. The PEU-IT, Admin Services, Employee Management Teams have reviewed and demoed several tools. Freshdesk has been selected by PEU as its internal service and asset management tool. The tool meets and exceeds the functionality and requirements identified above. In addition, each support team will have its own support silo within the tool for requests specific for their team. The tool will also provide the various teams the ability to collaborate on requests when needed. The addition of Freshdesk will help the teams on being even more productive and responsive to requestors/customers and in a timelier fashion. The automation feature will aid the support teams on keeping the requestor/customer informed on the status of their submission and end the manual process of sending email updates.
