Description

The New York City Department of Homeless Services is requesting to exercise the two-year renewal option for the contract with Slade Industries Inc. Slade Industries Inc. provides monthly maintenance services and regular repair work for elevators at DHS facilities throughout the city. The overall quality of service provided by Slade Industries Inc. is satisfactory. The contractor's services have been timely, and their performance has adhered to the terms of the contract, including schedules and milestones.

Given these factors, DHS Facilities and Logistics believe it would be in the City of New York's best interest to renew this contract, as it would save time and be the most cost-effective option during these economic times. The renewal contract is $1,790,178.00 from December 1, 2025, to November 30, 2027.
