Scope of Work:

The scope of work of this project is for the Roofing Replacement and Rooftop Structure Renovation of 29 Buildings at Throggs Neck. The scope includes, but is not limited to, temporary protection of public spaces, abatement of asbestos containing materials & removal of lead components, removal, installation of temporary, repair & replacement of roofing materials, penetrations & thru-wall flashing, removal of existing parapets & installation of railings, demolition & rebuild of compactor stacks, removal of settling chamber, building of vestibules at bulkheads & replacement of doors & frames, replacement of metal stairs and retrofit of drains generally at Main, Bulkhead & Canopy roof as described in the contract.

A non-mandatory virtual Proposers’ conference will be held on 08/07/2025 at 11:00 AM, via Microsoft Teams. Although attendance is not mandatory; it is strongly recommended that all interested vendors attend. In order to RSVP to the Pre-Bid Conference and obtain the Teams Meeting link to view the virtual conference email acm.procurement@nycha.nyc.gov with the RFQ number as the Subject line to confirm attendance.

All questions related to this RFQ are to be submitted via email to the CPD Procurement Unit at acm.procurement@nycha.nyc.gov with the RFQ number as the Subject line by no later than 08/14/2025 on 2:00PM. Proposers will be permitted to ask additional questions at the Proposers’ Conference. Responses to all submitted questions will be available for public viewing in Sourcing under the RFQ.

Bid Submission Requirements

Vendors shall electronically upload a single .pdf containing ALL components of the bid into iSupplier by the RFQ Bid Submission Deadline. NYCHA will NOT accept hardcopy Bids or bids via e-mail, fax, or mail.

After Proposer registers for iSupplier, it typically takes 24 to 72 hours for Proposer’s iSupplier profile to be approved.
 

It is Vendors sole responsibility to complete iSupplier registration and submit its Bid before the RFQ Bid Submission Deadline. NYCHA is not responsible for delays caused by technical difficulty or caused by any other occurrence.
