At the current time competitive bidding is not practicable because of the time required to run a competitive procurement in light of a February 2025 expiration of the current contract and the essential need for the services already being provided by this vendor. A Negotiated Acquisition Extension is the most practicable procurement method to secure continuation of essential services.
Description

This NAE will  secure continuation of services for one year.  During the extension term OCME will work on a new procurement for the continuation of these services. The services involved include forensic laboratory analysis.
