Description

The City of New York (the “City”), through its Department of Housing Preservation and Development (“HPD”), seeks the services of a qualified Contractor to maintain, support and enhance the current technology solutions and legacy COTS and inhouse implementations for the Division of Tenant resources. The Housing Access and Stability (HAS) of HPD administers rental subsidies, including Section 8, Shelter Plus Care, and Moderate Rehabilitation. Created by the Housing and Community Development Act of 1978, the Housing Choice Voucher program, also known as Section 8, provides assistance to eligible low- and moderate-income families to rent housing in the private market, and forms the majority of assistance. HPD is seeking a vendor to maintain, support and enhance the current systems for HQS inspection process, DTR Portal, Admin Portal, Operational and Analytical reporting, Upgrades and troubleshooting of COTs products/legacy access systems. And be able to add any enhancements as to break fixes and to legal mandates that update the current subsidy administration process for the next five (5) years.
