The contract is necessary to service and repair Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems at various Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities, Pumping Stations and associated DEP facilities. Fire alarm systems provide early smoke and fire detection, occupant notification in the event of fire/smoke condition, dispatch fire department, and activate smoke control systems by shutting off HVAC’s and closing fire-smoke dampers and smoke doors. The following tasks are included under this contract: Annual, Semi-Annual, Monthly Preventive Maintenance, Field Repair work, Shop Repair work, Manufacturer Services, Gas Monitoring Services. This Competitive Sealed Bid (“RFx”) is being released through PASSPort, New York City’s online procurement portal. Responses to this RFx should be submitted via PASSPort. To access the solicitation, vendors should visit the PASSPort Public Portal at https://www.nyc.gov/site/mocs/passport/about-passport.page and click on the “Search Funding Opportunities in PASSPort” blue box.
