DSS/ITS is requesting to purchase various hardware items for The Mayor’s Public Engagement Unit (PEU) detailed under the following Special Orders (SO): SO7353R request is for 25 MacBook Pro 13 with 3 years Apple Care. PEU is in need of these devices in support of new staff being hired and to replace outdated equipment’s in inventory. The devices are used by members of the communications, data analytics and engage special projects teams, as well and members of the executive team. SO7354R request is for 100 Lenovo ThinkPad with 3years’ warranty and repair. PEU is requesting new laptops for the newly hired staff and to replace the outdated laptops in inventory. SO7355R request is for 100 Apple iPads with 2 years’ Apple Care. PEU needs the requested devices for the new staff members being hired and to replace the outdated devices in inventory. The devices are required to have both Wi-Fi and data in support of the staff’s outreach work and Wi-Fi may not always be available.
