This solicitation is to obtain services in connection with the New York City School Construction Authority (NYCSCA) Job Order Contract (JOC) Program. The SCA’s Job Order Contracting (JOC) Program enables the SCA to rapidly engage contractors to perform construction and construction related services. The SCA anticipates awarding up to four (4) contracts to firms that are prequalified by the SCA at the time of contract award. To assist you with your request, the following is a summary of the services that will be required: General Information/Brief Summary: The Construction Management firms selected under this RFP will provide services for various Capital Task Force Classroom Conversions, site and exterior probes, flood elimination projects in scope and design, IEH Asbestos probe and abatement related to FDNY approval, and assisting Public Art for Public Schools (PAPS) for protection, removal, and storage of artwork. The CM will be responsible for coordinating all construction activities between the SCA, JOC General and Electrical Contractors, Architectural and Engineering consultants, and various school personnel from scope through project completion.
