Description

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking qualified providers to meet its demands for a wide variety of pathology lab services.  Currently, the system’s laboratories refer specimens to multiple outside facilities for various Pathology and Oncology related testing and services when not performed onsite.  This includes technical preparation of surgical specimens that are returned to the pathologists at NYC Health + Hospitals locations for diagnostic interpretation; referrals to subspecialty pathologists for consultation; and performance of specialty testing.

NYC Health + Hospitals aims to standardize the list of referral labs used by the health system in order to ensure best quality testing for all patients, enhance IT connectivity with lab service providers, and maximize value based on referred volumes.   Multiple Vendors are expected to be awarded.

Please note: Vendors that offer proprietary tests should submit a proposal in order to receive a contract with NYC Health +Hospitals.
