Description

Proven durable through its years on the streets, DOT manages and maintains the 2,100+ CityBenches that have been installed citywide since its launch in 2012. DOT will continue to site and install the CityBench in all five boroughs to support transit use and walking - both in response to suggestions for benches from the public via the web and as part of the NYC StreetsPlan which identifies 500 bus stops yearly throughout the city in need for seating.
