DOC is seeking vendors utilizing the Demonstration Project Challenge Based Procurement Method focused on non-clinical substance misuse education, (peer) support and advocacy, and post-release referrals to 1) Prevent substance misuse among incarcerated individuals AND 2) provide integrated support for active users, thereby: o Reducing the number of substance misuse-related infractions. o Increasing the number of negative drug test results. o Reducing the number of overdoses. o Increase the number of enrollments in post-release programs. o Increased engagement in jail-based substance misuse programming.
