NYCHA, by issuing this RFP, seeks proposals (“Proposals”) from Demand Response Aggregator Consulting firms (the “Proposers”) to enroll existing backup power generators (“Generators”) in various demand response (“DR”) programs to generate revenue for the Authority and manage NYCHA’s participation in DR programs.
The release date of this RFP is December 11, 2024 (the “Release Date”).
A non-mandatory Proposers’ conference (“Proposers’ Conference”) will be hosted online via Microsoft Teams on December 16, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. Although attendance is not mandatory at the Proposers’ Conference, it is strongly recommended that all interested Proposers attend, and that Proposers thoroughly review bid documents in advance of the meeting. The first site visit shall take place on December 20, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at 286 South Street, New York, NY 10002. The second site visit shall take place on December 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at 418 East 105th Street, New York, NY 10002. Although attendance is highly encouraged, the site visit is not mandatory.
Proposals must be successfully submitted into iSupplier in final form no later than 2:00 P.M. on January 17, 2025 (the “Proposal Submission Deadline”). Proposals which are saved in iSupplier as a “draft” but not successfully submitted will not be considered. Proposers should refer to Section IV(2) of this RFP for details on Proposal submission requirements.
The anticipated award date of the Agreement(s) to the Selected Proposer is on or about April 2025.

Interested firms are invited to obtain a copy of the RFP on NYCHA`s website. To conduct a search for the RFP number; vendors are instructed to open the link:

Proposer shall electronically upload a single document in a pdf format containing ALL components of the Proposal into the iSupplier application (“iSupplier”) by 2:00 P.M. EST on the Proposal Submission Deadline. NYCHA will NOT accept Proposals submitted in hardcopy format. The Proposal shall not include embedded documents or proprietary file extensions. NYCHA will not accept Proposals submitted either via e-mail, fax, or via regular or snail mail.
Instructions for registering for iSupplier can be found at http://www1.nyc.gov/site/nycha/business/isupplier-vendor-registration.page (last accessed August 23, 2022). After Proposer registers for iSupplier, it typically takes 24 to 72 hours for Proposer’s iSupplier profile to be approved.
It is Proposer’s sole responsibility to complete iSupplier registration and submit its Proposal before the Proposal Submission Deadline. NYCHA is not responsible for delays. caused by technical difficulty or caused by any other occurrence.
