The New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is requesting a Competitive Sealed Bid solicitation for On Call Sidewalk Shed Services Citywide for three years. On Call Sidewalk Shed Services Citywide will be utilized on an as needed basis and includes the installation, maintenance, and removal of scaffolding and sidewalk sheds at DHS shelters. This type of service is essential to protect the public from debris that might fall from buildings as a result of crumbling facades, work being performed on the outside of buildings, and to provide a safe environment for the staff and clients we serve. The proposed contract term is April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2028 with one renewal option for two-year term. The Provision of On Call Sidewalk Shed Services Citywide(PIN 23BSEDM06501, EPIN 07124B0007) Bidders are hereby notified that this contract is subject to Local Law 1, Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) Requirements and Prevailing Wage Rates. This Competitive Sealed Bid (“RFx”) is being released through PASSPort, New York City’s online procurement portal on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
