Description

DOHMH intends to enter into a Negotiated Acquisition with Concordance Healthcare Solutions to manage the storage of DOHMH's local and living stockpile of medical countermeasures, supplies, equipment and distribute emergency medical supplies and equipment during emergency response operations. As part of the living stockpile, the contractor will purchase and maintain excess personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory (N95 respirators, surgical masks, nitrile gloves, isolation gowns, among other items) in their nationwide network of distribution centers earmarked for DOHMH use in an emergency.

The mission is to provide life-saving pharmaceuticals, antidotes and other medical supplies and equipment to counter the effects of biological pathogens, chemical agents, and other mass casualty agents. The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (“DOHMH”) has supplemented this reserve by maintaining the DOHMH Inventory. This contract will be used to build the local stockpile and to meet the increased demand and associated volume of services required of CHS during an emergency response. The contract term will be for (5) five years with no options to renew.
