Description

The Department of Sanitation (DSNY) is seeking an appropriately qualified vendor (the “Contractor”) to plan, execute, and promote Community Reuse and Recycling Events to reduce waste generated by New York City residents (Generators). In compliance with Local Law 88 of 2023, the Community Reuse and Recycling Events will provide free and convenient opportunities for New York City residents to Reuse or Recycle Inorganic Material that is not collected by DSNY curbside collection. This RFP includes four components listed below. DSNY has the discretion to implement all or part of each component. Component 1: Community Reuse and Recycling Events Component 2: Promotion Component 3: Community Reuse Resources and Technical Training Component 4: Reporting
