Description

DEP intends to enter into a Demonstration agreement with the Dewberry Engineers Inc (w/UHRIG) and CDM SMITH NY, INC. (w/Renewable Resource Recovery Corp) for
BWSO-SHRDP, Sewer Heat Recovery System Development Demonstration Project. The Bureau of Water and Sewer Operations intends to pursue a demonstration project to test and evaluate the feasibility of an innovative approach to recover usable heat from the wastewater collection system. The demonstration project will allow for the Agency to test and evaluate the effectiveness of two Sewer Heat Recovery System (SHRS) technologies, Termliner & Source-Energy Pipe.
