Description
Accenture LLP will provide production services and maintenance in the form of Infrastructure Outsourcing (IO) and Application Outsourcing (AO) support to the FDNY Fire Computer Aided Dispatch (“FireCAD”) application. FireCAD is a computer assisted dispatch system designed to receive calls for emergencies through telephone, fire alarm boxes, or other means (other than EMS), assign and rapidly dispatch available firefighting units, and to provide critical information to those units concerning the emergency. The Department has integrated the FireCAD application into its daily operational activities and also has applications to link to the Police dispatch system and the EMS system.
