Description

The RFx will be accessible through the PASSPort Public Portal: https://passport.cityofnewyork.us/page.aspx/en/rfp/request_browse_public The New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC), Division of Infrastructure, is seeking an Engineering firm to provide services for the project described in the RFP. The selected Engineer will be required to provide services throughout the duration of the project (i.e., pre-construction, construction, and post-construction services). The selected Engineer will be required to provide all services necessary and required for the inspection, management, coordination, and administration of the Project, from commencement through substantial completion, final acceptance, and project close-out. The project for which services are required is for the Reconstruction of Queens Boulevard in neighborhoods of Sunnyside, Woodside, and Elmhurst in Queens, including a variety of safety and streetscape improvements, including partial street reconstruction, and resurfacing to address roadway conditions. Additionally, distribution and trunk water main replacements, as well as sewer repair work, is included throughout the project limits. The reconstruction for Queens Boulevard will cover 23 blocks (48th Street to 73rd Street).
