This contract consists of the construction of two separate pumping stations: 154th Street PS and 233rd Street PS. The 154th Street PS is located at 154th Street and Powells Cove Boulevard in Whitestone, Queens, and the 233rd Street PS is located adjacent to the Webster Avenue on-ramp to the southbound Bronx River Parkway in Woodlawn, Bronx. The current design of the 154th Street PS consists of the rehabilitation of the existing structure and installation of two (2) new 12” force mains that lead to an interceptor located under Powells Cove Boulevard approximately 50 feet from the proposed PS. The current design of the 233rd Street PS consists of the demolition of the existing PS and the construction of a new PS located on the same lot with two new 12” force mains that lead to a discharge splay and leachate basin located approximately 50 feet from the proposed PS.
