HPD's Anti-Harassment Unit (AHU) was established in April 2019 and is tasked with receiving referrals from the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants (MOPT) to investigate when allegations of harassment involve a property owner's failure to correct dangerous conditions and/or frequent disruptions of or failure to supply water, heat, gas, or electric service, actions which may constitute harassment. The unit is tasked with performing housing inspections and bringing cases in Housing Court with a claim of harassment. A Case Management system is needed for the unit to track referrals and employee workload including cases assigned, and in progress, etc. review building inspection results, store pictures/documentation, and log milestones. This system would provide the opportunity to properly monitor and track buildings the unit is working on, so that enforcement actions can be taken promptly and consistently
