Description

New York City Economic Development Corporation, on behalf of City Lights Insurance Company (the “City Lights”), is seeking an auditor to provide audit and related services for City Lights. The selected auditor will be engaged to perform the following services (the “Services”): (i) perform audits of City Lights’ financial statements, and schedule of investments, for the calendar years ending December 31, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 (each, a “Fiscal Year”); (ii) prepare a Management Report for each Fiscal Year, if required, setting forth findings and recommendations; and (iii) attend annual meetings of the Trust’s Board of Directors and Audit Committee as required for each Fiscal Year, and a minimum of two meetings of the Audit Committee during the course of each Fiscal Year.

City Lights plans to select an auditor on the basis of factors stated in the RFP, which include, but are not limited to: (i) the quality of the proposed audit approach, knowledge of compliance guidelines and standards, and a demonstrated understanding and ability to perform the Services; (ii) the quality of the firm’s relevant experience with audits of a similar size and scope, standards and reputation, and favorable experience with audits of public entities; (iii) the proposed compensation; and (iv) the overall quality of the proposal and the degree to which it demonstrates the respondent and its proposed team’s full understanding of the Services to be rendered.
