Due to the high-need population housed at the Nicholas Scoppetta Children's Center, it is important to have all maintenance and repairs coordinated and expedited so the facility conforms to all regulatory requirements for children and staff. It is preferable to have all maintenance and repair activities centralized under a single contractor rather than among several vendors; ACS believes this is more conducive to a Best Value bid where multiple factors can be evaluated rather than a straight bid based on price alone.
