This Sole Source contract is needed to procure the necessary maintenance and technical support services for Fujifilm Medical Systems hardware and software in order to prevent the spread of tuberculosis (TB) and eliminate the disease as a public health problem in the New York City. Since the Synapse software and hardware are already integrated within the Bureau of Tuberculosis Control, the ACCO has determined that it is in the city's best interest to procure continued services via sole source contract with FujiFilm Medical Systems USA, Inc.
Description

DOHMH intends to enter into a Sole Source contract with Fujifilm Heathcare Americas Corporation who will provide maintenance and technical support services for Fujifilm Medical Systems Software/Hardware, SYNAPSE. This software is currently intergrated with the Bureau of Tuberculosis Control and is being used to prevent the spread of Tuberculosis (TB) in an effort to eliminate the disease as a public health problem in New York City.
