Description

This Project consists of the replacement of Fire Alarm System at Flushing Library. As part of this project, a new proprietary fire alarm system manufactured by Edwards EST4 will be provided. The entire project scope will include new pull stations, smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct mounted smoke detectors, door holders, horns, strobes, horn/strobes, and modules (control and monitor) for water flows, tamper switches and fire smoke dampers. Various components such as fan shut down, hatches, and elevators will be integrated with new fire alarm system. As part of this project, existing pneumatic fire smoke dampers will be replaced with new electronic type dampers. Ancillary scope will include provision of wall and ceiling access doors to access dampers and fire alarm system components. The fire alarm system shall be replaced in such a way that existing fire alarm system remains active during the course of construction. CB QUEENS 7
