The Adult Protective Services (APS) program arranges for needs assessments, care management and service delivery to impaired adults who have no one willing and able to help in a responsible manner. Heavy duty cleaning (HDC) services enable HRA/APS to prevent eviction and / or to place home care services into client’s residence, enabling impaired adults to remain in a community setting as an alternative to premature or unnecessary costly institutionalization. HDC services includes – cleaning, garbage removal, disinfection and extermination to provide an orderly and hygienic environment. The Sparklean Janitorial Services, Inc is the lowest bidder which is our current vendor for Queens borough heavy duty cleaning services. The vendor is very responsive with our directives, and also responsible with the contract requirement tasks and standards. They are flexible on scheduling and more cooperative with clients during cleaning services. The contract term will be twelve (12) months from 10/1/2023 – 9/30/2024. The contract budget will be $250,000.
