The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is procuring Peerless Pump in the amount of $51,658.00 from Fleet Pump & Service Group, Inc. Fleet Pump & Service Group, Inc is the only distributor of this good for NYC. For the reasons stated above, DEP is requesting sole source procurement for Peerless Pump.
Description

These pumps are used to support polymer mixing and dosing with effluent water. The current pumps on site are no longer in production and have reached the end of their useful lifecycle. The replacement Peerless pumps will help ensure that the location meets DEC permitting and the loading of sludge vessels. Direct replacements are needed so that the piping will not need to be reconfigured to accommodate a different brand of pump.
