Description

The Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) of the Department of Social Services (DSS) is requesting a Sole Source procurement in the amount of $117,250.00 with PruTech Solutions, Inc. for purchase of Support of VAN + Casework Software as a Service. The procurement is to pay for outstanding invoices for the service rendered by PruTech Solutions Inc. during the period of 01/01/2021 to 12/31/2021. Throughout the year of 2021, Prutech Solutions Inc. had been the only authorized reseller of Voter's Activation Network (VAN) products. VAN is a software as a service (SAS) Software containing the voting population file with enhanced contract data, consumer data, and propriety models. This software is owned by Every Action (DBA, NGP VAN). This NGP VAN Software is currently being used by the Public Engagement Unit (PEU) for their public outreach program. The tool is especially critical with the ongoing COVID outreach being conducted by the agency. This procurement is in accordance with Section 3-01(d)(2)(iv) of the PPB rules for the reasons set forth herein.
