DEP intends to enter into a Government to Government Agreement with the State of New York acting through its Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation for CAT-515 for the Construction of a Dual-Function Bridge to the Hudson River Drainage Chamber. Under this contract, NYC DEP will provide partial funding for construction of the bridge in exchange for the New York State Office of Parks upgrading the pedestrian bridge to a dual-function pedestrian and H10-rated vehicular bridge to allow DEP vehicular access over the Metro-North tracks.
