The New York City Department of Small Business Services (SBS) mission is to create and foster economic growth throughout the City including assisting its small businesses to manage, sustain and grow. SBS is seeking appropriately qualified vendors to provide outcome focused services and assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs at its seven (7) Business Solution Centers (Centers). The services at the Centers include, without limitation: financing assistance, business courses, legal assistance (through partnership arrangements with attorneys providing pro-bono assistance), business consultations, and referrals to business services at SBS and other citywide organizations. Centers are expected to spread the word about SBS services throughout their service area, generate demand for these services, provide excellent customer service when delivering and/or referring to a service, and operate with efficient protocols in order to achieve scale and meet service goals at each Center.
